Hello, and welcome to another one of my lessons Very Happy

TODAY WE WILL BE MAKING THIS:

simpler than it looks.
FIRST, Open your GIMP to 100x100. Then, take this texture and paste it onto your canvas. Compare to how you see it in the avatar.
THEN, Take this image and desaturate it by going to colors>desaturate>luminosity. Resize it and past it onto your first picture, the texture. Take the Chaotic37 brush, or any brush that you have with a jagged edge (if you don't have any, use the circle fuzzy brush) and erase around the image parts that you do not want. Then, take this texture and set it to screen, and put it like you see the first line in the image. Do the same thing for the other two.
Save it.
TADA! Your results?

No results Sad

I don't know how to make it Crying or Very sad

I followed your instructions and than something weird happens to my GIMP, everytime I click on photo to move, Desaturate box pops out!

It blocks me from doing anything Sad

Hm...
Okay, MAKE SURE that your move tool is selected, and try again, and if it does that again shut down your GIMP and try again.

If it continues, uninstall your GIMP and then reinstall it. That should fix it.

Hm... Then save the whole picture, open it, desturate it, save it again, then try.
