I LOVED THAT BOOK. It was very interesting, I love pixies and folklore type stuff like that.
A book I just finished reading and I can't wait to get my hands on the next two, was Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment by James Patterson. AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING. If you are going to read another book soon but don't know what to read, read this one and tell me what you think.
(Quick Summary: Maximum Ride, or Max for short, is 98% human, 2% bird. And she can fly. After escaping a lab she calls the School, (haha, I find it ironic that the place of evil and torture is called the School ) Max and her gang, Fang, Iggy, the Gasman, Angel, and Nudge are on the run from a group of wackjob scientists who want to study them; cut up on a lab table most preferably. Plus she needs to discover the best cookie in NYC. Oh, and save the whole world.) Very well developed characters, never ending twists and turns, and genetic experiments that make you wonder what scientists really do during their free time...a fantastic read. |
