Basically, the title is self-explanatory. Give the title, author, maybe a brief description, whether you like the book or not, and please specify if the book is not appropriate for young adults (aka not in the YA genre). If you don't specify anything, we'll assume it is YA.

I just finished The Host. It was amazing, but that's all I'll tell you. I don't want to spoil anything.

So...what are you reading now? Smile

Still reading The Host. I wanted to have it done by now, but being at the hospital the past few days ruined that plan.

I just read the book Elsewhere, by Gabrielle Zevin. It was fantastic, and it seriously made me cry, especially the end. It was really, really good. I definitely recommend it.

I just finished reading Elsewhere too, it is amazing. I highly recommend it. Another book that I just finished is Poison by Chris Wooding, and I think it was fantastic. The book I just started reading is Reincarnation by Suzanne Weyn. A love story over the centuries, the two main characters fall in love, but never quite get to live out their happily ever after. So far it sounds good, but I'm only on chapter two, so I can't judge it yet. Very Happy

I've never read Reincarnation, but I've read Poison! It was pretty good.

I just read Freak Show by James St. James. I did enjoy it, but be warned, it might take awhile to get used to Billy Bloom's narration (main character). He's an extremely flamboyant drag queen who just moved to Florida, where he is forced to attend an all-white, very conservative school that has never housed a homosexual before. It was interesting, but it was definitely a frivolous type of book. Aside from the anti-gay feelings of the students and the conflicts caused by them, there wasn't a lot of real substance to the book until the last half, IMO. I don't know - I had conflicting feelings about it. It's a very loud book. If anyone decides to read it, let me know what you thought!

I haven't read Jane Eyre yet, but I've been meaning to. And I read The Host in one sitting, so I'm sorry I can't sympathize with those who are still reading it! I will admit, though, that The Host did have its slower parts, so I can understand why it's taken Brandy 250 pages to get into it.

Oh, and I just read Bad Kitty by Michelle Jaffe. Very funny book. Loved it.

Jane Eyre is one of my favorite books. But right now I'm reading Twelfth Night. Once you get past the Shakespeare part, it's really good.
