Okey dokey I'm going to do the ring....I don't know why.

I stare down at the peice of metal and slowly turn it over in my fingers. What to do...I study the intracate details of the fine work of art. Should I sell it? It looks expensive. I slowly place it on my middle finger. Huh. Pretty. A knock on my door, I sigh. A slight numbness creeps up my arm...I shake it off, but it won't go away. The numbness is spreading...my legs...I can't feel my legs. Why can't I move? Panic spreads through me and I try to call out for help. But no sound comes out of my mouth. The door opens and Henry sees me just before I dissapear forever.
...

I wander around now. In search of a way to get this cursed ring off me. But I know that I am doomed.



Sigh, it's too short.

Uh...I will choose the lamp which grants three wishes because it will do the least amount of damage if it DID malfunctioned...I think.

Well, here's my 'story'.



I rub the lamp with a tea towel and had a random, or not so random, thought which flashed to Aladdin and his magic lamp. I let out a hysterical laugh as I thought how similar the situation was, except for the fact that this lamp wasn't magical. As I continue to rub the lamp, I catch sight of my reflection and my eyebrows disappear into my hair. I was so surprised at how good I looked.

I blink and suddenly, the dark-haired beauty that was looking at me through the lamp was gone and I was myself again. I frown and shook my head. I knew I was going crazy.

A nagging thought I couldn't quite place my finger on was pulling at the back of my mind. 'What?' I felt like screaming to it. I always felt frustrated whenever I didn't know something.

Suddenly, a blue misty genie emerged from the spout of the lamp and I gasp in shock. Huh?

"I will grant you three wishes, mortal."

I stare, dumbfounded, at the floating majestic genie hovering in front of me. Eh...? Oh, well, at least I get three wishes. So I debate in my mind which to pick...

1. I wish for two more wishes on top of my three original ones.
2. Twilight to be real.
3. Edward to love me.
4. Edward to marry me.
5. Edward to make me a vampire.

"Your wishes will be granted," the genie booms in his deep voice and fades away, back into the magical lamp.

Suddenly...

"Jia Yi?"

It was Edward. My heart starts thumping and I sigh happily. I love that lamp. It was DEFINITELY a help.

I would choose the clock because if i totally mess up on an important test, or ive just had a bad day altogether, then i can redo that day. If i were to find out that i were to die one day, and if i were to like to redo something in my life, then i could.

I would choose the clock that controled time. The reason i would choose this one object is because there are thing that have happened in my past that i would take care of. So i set it back to when i was 5 and i would have been able to stop my step-dad from doing the things he did to my brother and i. But seeing as this obect is in the first test, it really didn't work out the best, it sent me to a diffrent time than i wanted to be and when i came back i was really sick for a very long time. If i were asked if i would want anyone else to try this, i would say to them," No, this object is faulty and it didn't help me one bit."


Ok, now i hope that was good.

it wouldn't be like harry potter, with the Time-Turner. Where there are multiples of you. or if it was, then all of your clones would know what was going on, so they wouldn't spaz if they caught a glimpse

I’ll take the time clock

I wake up in my own home, my own room, my own bed. It is one fourteen a.m., and I am still wearing yesterday’s wrinkled clothes. I cannot help but wonder if it was all a dream—the impersonal sterility of the lab, the perfectly clichéd “mad scientist” look of the man in his stiff white coat, and the impossible stories he’d told me had, after all, seemed a bit unreal. I have just managed to convince myself that it was a fluke of my subconscious mind when I look down to my hand and see that I am clasping it still—the clock.

I can’t remember what it was the man told me about this clock, but I smile nonetheless. The concept of time has always intrigued me: it is at once the subject of physics and philosophy…romanticized by the world but also used to calculate such absolutes as speed and distance. A clock is a classical symbol of this paradox—the second hand, in reality, always takes precisely the same amount of time to tick from one line to the next, but some swear that a second of torture lasts a thousand times longer than a second in which a perfect photograph is taken.

The timepiece I am holding is simple, with twin bells on the top and two small knobs in the back. It is coated with dust, which I rub off absently to reveal a surprisingly shiny exterior. It is set to midnight exactly, and the thin hands of the alarm rest in a two o’clock position. I turn the clock over in my hands a few times, testing the knobs to figure out which does what, and finally move the hands into their proper position. I tentatively test the alarm, not wanting to wake my parents across the hall, but the loud buzz fills my ears for only an instant before I find myself in an unfamiliar land.

It takes a moment for me to fully comprehend my surroundings, and even when I’ve thoroughly looked around I have no idea where I am. I’ve been thrown to the ground, but the clock is still resting in my hand as I stand up. I can recall quite clearly, now, the man’s description of this particular alarm—a clock that controls the time. What I had neglected to realize until now was that this clock didn’t have a date setting.


Decent? Horrible? I plan to continue it, but it's three thirty in the morning right now and my first priority is sleep.
