The idea for my book just randomly popped into my head and it turns out that it's literary fiction. I've never even heard of that before, so it wasn't like I chose it. How about you guys and girls? Did you pick your genre based on your favorite genre to read? Do you find that specific type easiest to write? Or rather, you chose a genre that you've always wanted to write about but never got the chance? ...
