HEY, SORRY YOU CAN'T SEE ANYTHING. The admins are crazy people and decided it would be nice to revamp the site. You can still use the chatbox if you want, but I recommend coming back in a few days. Oh, and anonymous? You still fail.

Lesson #4 : Provence

***

As everyone know I am french, and i'm gonna present the region I am from: Provence.

***

Provence is a region of southeastern France on the Mediterranean Sea adjacent to Italy. It is part of the administrative région of Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur. The traditional region of Provence comprises the départements of Var, Vaucluse, and Bouches-du-Rhône and parts of Alpes-de-Haute-Provence and Alpes-Maritimes. Provence is so named because it was the first Roman province outside of Italy.

Typical provencal houses (Mas Provencal):

This is my house, the house were I grew up. My grandparents and uncle still live there and my appartment is for rent.

This is a village called Clansayes where my father is reconstructing his house:

Now from the other side: (the house with the HUGE hole is my father's)

I hope that you liked it.

Haha, I'm actually doing a project on Provence right now. Well, more specifically, Cote d'Azur. While I'm at it, what's a specialty dish from that area? I pulled up a page with thirty recipes but, seeing as you are from that region, what would you say a big specialty dish is there?
