How do I begin?

Hitlers party, the NSDAP (Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei = national socialistic German workers party) was elected the strongest party in Reichstag (parliament at that time now it´s Bundestag) on 31st july 1932. On 28 january 1933, Hitler became Reichskanzler, the head of state. On 23rd march 1933 the Reichstag disempowerd itself by argeeing to Hitlers Ermächtigungsgesetz. This law allowed the cancellor, that was Hitler, to resolve new laws without the agreement of the Reichstag.
This Ermächtingungsgesetz formed the fundament of the Third Reich till 1945.
On the 28 february the so called Reichstagsbrandverordnung (the Reichstags fire edict) was comnig intro force. It annihilated the human basic rights.
On 31 march and on 7th april 1933 the laws of political equalization of the Bundesländer with the Reich came into force.
In june and july 1933 nearly all the other parties were forbidden or dissolved. On 14th july the NSDAP was established as sate party and all the other parties that weren´t dissolved or forbidden until then were enjoined.
On the 30th june 1933 Hitlers Vizekanzler (his vice-cancellor) was made to resign from office.
After the former Reichspräsident Hindenburg died on the 2nd august 1934, Hitler became Reichspräsident as well and now beheld total power ("Reichspräsident und Führer").
At this day, Hitler also swore the Wehrmacht (the German army at that time) in.

Hitler was a decorated veteran of World War I who led the Nazi Party in Weimar Germany.

Well, eastern Germany, the former GDR was a socialistic dictatorship till 1990 when both parts were reunited again.

Now Germany is a capitalistic republic^^
