Any book by Tamora Pierce, especially the Immortals series or the Alanna one. Those two are my favorites series by her.

The Mediator Series by Meg Cabot is a good supernatural-ish book. It's got everything...action, mystery, suspense, romance.

The Maximum Ride books by James Patterson are good, too.

Blue Bloods by Melissa de la Cruz is another vampire book. It's one of those books I started but never finished, yet it was great as far as I got.

Actually...I think there's a book called Vampire Academy, ironically enough. Wink

definently the lioness quartet and immortals were my favourite too. LOVED those.

has anyone read the vampire diaries? those are awesome books too.

Agree with Tamara Pierce. (Immortals and Alanna are also my favorites)

There is a book called Vampire Academy, by Richelle Mead, and it pwns. The sequel is called Frostbite and it is equally pwnworthy.

Okay, I'm pretty sure I've added all of the books you guys have recommended if they weren't already on the list. But if I missed any, let me know! Keep in mind that certain titles have been lumped together into just one general category, such as 'Meg Cabot books,' 'Anything by Tamora Pierce,' etc.
Thanks for the recommendations!

Another one would be The vampire chronicals by Anne Rice.... Warning: they're a bit of a 'heavier' read.... not that they're that big it's more the content... you kind of have to read it in parts.

You should read Guilty Pleasures it's the first in the Anita Blake Vampire Hunter Series it's (*NOT YA*) but they're AWESOME! There are 16 in all the most recent one, Blood Nori, came out in May. They are by Laurell K. Hamilton and by FAR the best books I have EVER read.

I don't know if it's on the list, but the Magyk series, by Angie Sage? I don't know if that would be considered as fantasy...

The Magyk series is definitely in the fantasy genre! Smile I've added it. The Stuff of Nightmares has also been added.
Thanks for the recommendations!

Unfortunately, I can't add Sarah Dessen's books to this list because they aren't in the fantasy genre, but she is on the Author List.
I did add Ned Vizzini's book, though. I'm assuming it's fantasy because I've never read it.

A General Note: If I haven't read the book you're recommending, I'm going to assume it's a fantasy book. If you want to suggest books that are NOT in the fantasy genre, PM me and I'd be happy to set up a different list for those books. Currently this list is the only recommendations list

To crescentmoon: Would you like me to add Sarah Dessen's books to a new Realistic Fiction list? (I haven't made it yet, but I will if you want me to.)
