in rock music, there si the guitar (often) and good instrumental stuff and actualy MUSiC to go along with the words!

Rap. It sucks. It defines a whole new level of suckiness. It makes me squinge, and cover my ears, and lecture everyone who likes it about how horrible it is.

Rap is crap!!! Rap is just terrible! Its demeaning to women, self-centered, and just plain stupid!!!

The beats are good for dancing... maybe they could just plays music without lyrics at clubs???

3. You can't understand half of what they're saying
4. The beats are (generally) the same

1. It is demeaning and offensive
2. there is no MUSIC!!! it is just beats
3. You cannot understand what they are saying anyway, but when you look it up, it is horrible and crude
4. All the good radio stations are havign air time that could be used for decent music taken up by rap
5. it is repetitive, adn it is pretty much all the same

I know everyone in this fourm hates rap, but what about hip-hop? Some can be just as bad as rap as lyrics goes but that can be said for rock and heavy metal as well.
Rock and heavy metal are usualy angry and depressing. Pop music has mostley turned into slutty music.

The only safe music out there now a days is country, chistain, Disney, and American Idol.

My likes in music? I'll probably be dis-liked for, I do like rap, hip-hop, pop, techno, rock, very little heavy metal, few disney works, don't care too much for American Idol, and I can live without country(only a few country artist I like).

If you bash on one genre of music you might as well bash on them all. I can find many good things to say about one genre just as much as I can find many negative things to say about it.

I do admit rap has alot of crapy things said in it, but then again rock has anger, heavy metal is nothing but shouting, Emo is mostly about death and adolesents (i don't fit in with the world), Techno is the same beat over and over and over, Pop is dirty (cough cough britney spears/ Pussycat dolls), Country is usually nothing but slow songs (not all the time), Christain is based for one religion, Disney is mainly for the lil kiddies save for HIgh School Musical Kids and Jonas Brothers, American Idol is one show of fame and then it's on for survival.

music is every human emoiton wrap up in a beat and sung for the world to hear. But it doesn't force you to listen.....or buy.
