Edward in the movie

eh, i think they could have found a better actor, but compared to some of the other actors he was good. He did, however IMHO, look to big, too me... i pictured him as being a smidge shorter...

I didn't like his playing at all ... the first time he was in class with her ... his looks toward bella were like I pictured it but the way he acted like she smelled bad .. OH PLEASE! that was too much ..

Then he smiles too much like if it was easy ... then the way he grabbed her arm when she told him she knew the truth .. Edward would have NEVER done that....

ok in the middle of that rant I actually noticed that it became a rant against the script and the director lol!

But still Robert does not fit this role...

I agree with you. I always think that he holds on to her, not softly, like Edward does. It looks like he is going to break her arm.

Also, he doesn't have that crooked smile that Edward is supposed to

I personally thought that Robert Pattinson did a pretty good job...I mean Edward is a hard character to play...You know? Like Edward is suppose to be like the perfect being ever and all that jazz...Also the people that casted him must've thought he would be the best to play Edward so yea....

The first scene in Biology was really really retarded, I seriously laughed out loud. But otherwise he did a perfect job :). And he's how I pictured Edward too.

Yeah, I totally agree that scene was just laughable. Also, I like how they made him not overly sparkly in the movie...but the tinkling noise!? I mean come on I burst out laughing cus it just took the entire seriousness of the scene away.

Yeah, the tinkling noise was soooo funny!
